Fall Landscapes

I love fall in Vermont! Everywhere you go, you are surrounded by the amazing fall colors and scenery. The assignment for this week was a pleasure to complete, although, composing and taking the pictures is not as easy as observing the landscape. I had the most difficulty with choosing what to capture. Yes, there are plenty of great places around, but I wanted to include as much as possible in my photos. Only after seeing the pictures on my computer at home did I realize that I was going too far. However, I did manage to get some less "cluttered" shots (I think), which I posted here.

I have also posted some of my other photos on Flickr... http://www.flickr.com/photos/alinar/
or you can see them in the little slideshow I have on the lower right of the page.

I love the colors in the second photo. Your eyes are drawn right to the reds and then they slowly follow the rest of photo back to the blue mountains in the background.

I loved the perspective on your first photo!

I also love love love autumn in New England - I am actually on vacation out-of-state during the peak week! Unfortunately I didn't take any photo's before I left - so now I get to look at all of yours :-)

I'm with you when it comes to the foliage; how can people not want to live in Vermont?

I really liked both your pictures. The calm blues in the first and the bank and forth layers of red and green in the second. Very nice.

Nice work on the landscapes. The foliage one has the complementary colors of read and green which really stand out. The first photo is exceptionally calming and great composition by NOT putting the horizon direclty in the middle...

Alina,

These landscapes photos are very nice. I love how the mountains fade away in the second photo, and I am always partial to water photos.
